1st XI Captains Announcement

We are super excited to announce the appointment of Trae Love-Linay as SBSLCC captain for our forthcoming 2024/25 season! Trae will be joining last season’s skipper Jeremy Heys as co-captain of our First XI team as we launch into an exciting era for the club

Most in our Cave family will know Trae as he has grown up at the club and come through our ranks playing his cricket to a very high and impressive level.

Aside from being part of our DNA, Trae is a fantastic all round player with great game sense having already played many seasons in our firsts as a talented top order bat, handy medium bowler and gun fielder. He is a past winner of our prestigious IBM award and being part of Jodie and Rod’s legendary Love-Linay clan, he is also of great character.

We are already extremely proud and lucky to be blessed with homegrown Jeremy’s elite abilities and leadership and when combined with Trae’s limitless potential, we can’t wait to see them unleash their formidable powers and drive our club forward.
